A wonderful private and peaceful getaway in a serene location. We only wish we had stayed longer. The cabins are beautifully built, decorated, and appointed, great for small families and an excellent base for local exploration, close to a famous 4WD trail.

We stayed at the cabins for 3weeks with all the staff from Highlander. We were received like VIP. The view is amazing, lot of cool animals hanging around. The cabins have everything you need.

We enjoyed such a wonderful reunion of 5 longtime friends in 2 of the Cabins at Blacktail...plenty of fresh mountain air, gorgeous fall foliage for our plein air watercolor adventures on the deck of Bike Haus #6; for a stroll to their nearby creek-formed island. Thank you...we had a blast!
